2017 has so far proven to be a rather exciting for FinTech after the initial turbulence that hit the sector in early 2016.
According to the annual FinTech report, cumulative investment globally is expected to exceed over $150 billion in the months to come with key trends focusing on the security as well as the transition from offline to online.
Same as other financial-related industries, establishing trust in key for the investors to loosen the purse strings.
The next six months are also expected be a dynamic for mobile-first products that consumers are using more often.
Furthermore, the once exceptionally performing “start-ups” will manage to establish themselves as “companies”, which will open additional space for new players to hit the ground running.
With that in mind, Wealth & Finance International has launched the 2017 FinTech Awards in partnership with Acquisition International – the voice of corporate finance.
